Kids will learn proper warm up techniques, paintball safety, and tactical skills.

FAQ
Do we need to preregister to participate?
No. Just show up out at the field and tell the person working the booth that you want to be in the Young Guns Club.
How should my child be dressed?
If your child doesn't own clothing designated for paintball then dress them in clothes that you don't care about, that are over sized and preferably in layers. Players at TheField must wear long pants (no shorts).
May I drop my child off or do I have to stay?
We always recommend that parents stay with their children because of the nature of this sport but, no, a parent does not have to stay. The parent does need to come to the booth and sign a waiver on behalf of their child.
What's the difference between the YG Club and regular walk-on play?
The YG club will have their own referee and are able to play just among themselves. They do have the option of playing with walk-on players. They will also receive instruction on warming up, playing safely, and tactics.
How much is paint? How much do I need?
For this event we are requiring that you purchase your paint at TheField. A 500 round bag is $12.25 which includes tax. If your child is new to paintball, one bag may be all he/ she will need. More experienced players tend to shoot more paint. For these player we suggest approx. 1000 rounds.
How often will the club meet? Must we attend all of these days?
The schedule above shows all the dates that the club will meet. Your child does not have to be at all meetings. The club will meet 6 times over the summer months.
Should my child bring a lunch?
Yes, and plenty of fluids to rehydrate. We do not have 'real' food available at the booth (just snacks). We do have reasonably priced water, gatorade, and sodas at the booth.
Who will be running the meetings?
One of our qualified referees will be in charge of the Young Guns Club.
